The New Release™ / MovieCube™ Engages Counsel to Address Universal Studios' Actions

HOUSTON, TX -- TNR Entertainment Corp. (TNR), a leading operator of movie rental kiosks in North America under both The New Release([TM]) and MovieCube([TM]) brands, announced today that it has engaged the law firm of Yetter, Warden & Coleman to support its review of Universal Studios' recent policy change, which delays distribution of Universal movies to kiosk operators, as well as, the resulting lawsuit by Redbox Automated Retail, LLC against Universal filed on October 10, 2008 in Delaware federal court.

Universal's policy change, which will take effect on December 1, 2008, denies kiosk operators access to new releases until 45 days after the movies are available to the general public. Yetter, Warden & Coleman (www.yetterwarden.com), a law firm experienced in movie industry related litigation, will help TNR evaluate its options in this matter.

"TNR's commitment is to provide value, convenience and choice for our consumer," said Tim Belton, TNR's President and CEO. "Our initial review of Universal's policy change is that it will adversely affect that commitment. We are confident that Yetter, Warden & Coleman's counsel will provide TNR with the best path forward to ensure that our customers continue to enjoy the most current movies available for DVD rentals at The New Release and MovieCube kiosks."
